This antique bookcase with THREE leaded glass doors dates from the 1890s. We sell a lot of fantastic bookcases here at Maine Antique Furniture, and this piece is no exception! Just look at the pictures and check out the solid tiger sawn oak construction, and beautiful leaded glass doors. Behind each of the three leaded glass doors you have individual bookcase compartments, each of which features adjustable shelves. This bookcase comes with a total of eight removable and adjustable shelves, and you can put them in any configuration that you would like behind the three different glass doors.
What makes this an unusual find are the three stunning leaded glass doors. It's fairly rare to have a bookcase like this with leaded glass all along the front of the case, and this kind of bookcase is in very high demand. Dating from the Victorian era, with solid tiger sawn oak, you really don’t get much more desirable than this! It’s in beautiful original condition, the only thing we see is an old repair on the inside of the right-hand leaded glass door but it's no big deal, we just like to be thorough. The locks are intact, but there are no keys. Please note, we do not guarantee locks on any antiques, as they are as temperamental as a kitten on catnip. With original finish and only the normal nicks and dings that come with age, this antique leaded glass oak bookcase will enhance any decor.
Measuring 70 inches long, 12 1/2 inches deep, and 49 inches tall. Each of the individual interior sections measure 22 1/2 inches long x 10 inches deep x 42 inches tall.
