We are pleased to be offering today this fantastic tiger sawn oak carved ball and claw Chippendale style bar cabinet from Belgium. It dates from the 1940s to 1950s. This beautiful cabinet is in tiger sawn oak and has acanthus carved rope braised edge on the raised panel top and carved columns going down the sides. When you open the raised panel drop down lid, it exposes a mirror lined on the lid and a glass shelf on the inside that is adjustable with plenty of storage space. When you close the lid, it will lock into place. Below the lid is a raised panel carved drawer with big bold brass casted hardware. Then a wonderful oak clam shell carved ball and claw Chippendale footed base. It is in the original finish. The overall size is 44 inches wide, approximately 17 inches deep and 47 inches high. When the lid is open and you are working on fixing drinks, it is 27 inches high from the floor. It is in great condition and the finish is wonderful.
