SOLD Antique Solid Mahogany Sheraton Cookie Corner Tall Chest
This is a gorgeous solid mahogany six-drawer acanthus carved cookie corner fluted leg tall chest that dates from the 1930s or ‘40s. It is very well-built, and has Sheraton fluted turned legs, plank solid mahogany sides, solid mahogany cookie corner top, and the traditional acanthus carved fluted posts running down both sides. It retains its original Sheraton hardware, and all drawers are dovetail and mahogany lined. The only thing we did was re-spray the top to remove nicks and dings. It measures 31 inches wide, 19 inches deep, and 53 inches high. This chest has lots of storage space, and the style is getting harder to find!
