This antique oak dining room table is of tiger sawn oak with a split pedestal base. Dating from the 1890s, this wonderful professionally restored and refinished antique dining table measures 52 inches across the round top, and comes with four 8-inch leaves and measures 30 inches high. When you open the table top up, the pedestal splits at the same time, and supports the four 8 inch wide leaves. This antique dining table opens even more, for an additional 22 inches, or 3 more leaves, when fully extended. We can fabricate additional leaves for you here in our shop if desired. Just let us know, and we can give you a quote.
This antique dining table is all tiger-sawn oak, with dark oak stain and an empire base. The table top features multiple coats of satin sheen lacquer that have been applied for years of carefree use. This is what we traditionally call table season, though the way we’ve been selling them, I guess table season is all year long. No matter when you’re in the market for an antique dining room table, we have a lot in stock. If you don’t see something you like in our store, please let us know what you are looking for and we will help you find it.
