SOLD Antique Nightstands Pair of Mahogany Carved Commodes
This marvelous matched pair of nightstands feature carved mahogany, serpentine fronts, single drawers on each nightstand, and are shapely and attractive. These antique nightstands date from the 1940s, in restored condition. They have been sanded, stained, sprayed and some of the character marks have been left in for added charm. These antique nightstands have a single dove tail drawer that is really a simulated two drawer. There is an open space above the drawer for additional storage. There is carving going down the sides, a French ogee base, carved elbows on the legs and a multi-bevel edge top. The overall size is 23 inches wide, 16 inches deep and 29 inches high. The size of the drawer is 16 inches wide, 10 inches deep and 7.5 inches high. The space above the drawer is 19 inches wide, 14 inches deep and 11 inches high. It is a great pair or nightstands for any bedroom or even end tables in a parlor. Shipping starts at $165 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area.
