This Stacking File Cabinet is a beautiful oak, and features an eight drawer file cabinet that most likely dates from the 1930s era. It is nice for a stacker as the sides are all paneled and double paneled on each section. The inside of the drawers is metal for ease of sliding in and out. The hardware is all intact. Every drawer has a lock in it, and while we do not have a key, I am sure a locksmith can make one. The outside face of the drawers are 14 inches wide. The inside is 12 inches wide. The face of the drawer is 10.5 inches high. It is a standard size file cabinet that would take a hanger easily. The siders work fine. They even have rod knobs that no one ever uses anymore. The overall size of the cabinet is 33 inches wide, 25 inches deep and 60 inches high overall. Each drawer section is 13 inches high. You can take a section out if you desire. You are getting 6 sections: the top, 4 drawer sections and the base all for one money. It is all tiger sawn oak. It would look gorgeous refinished professionally and we can provide a quote if you desire. Shipping starts at $385 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area. An absolute pleasure. At my request, Maine Antique Furniture divided this into two separate 2x2 filing cabinets, fabricating a new top and base. They turned out perfect. So much better than the price would indicate. Truly good people surrounded by good craftsmen. Highly recommended!
