SOLD Antique Desk Chair, Mahogany Lawyers Swivel Tilt Bankers Office Chair
This antique office chair is solid mahogany or birch-stained brown, with a swivel tilt component. Dating from the 1930s in original condition, we acquired this right out of an office in central Maine, where they were using this stout and sturdy antique office chair. These are very popular as anyone of any size can sit and be comfortable in this style of chair. The back is shaped to follow the contours of back for comfort. It has a heavy duty rolled back that goes down into a solid arm. This antique office chair sits upon a stout and sturdy base that goes up and down on a threaded rod. The chair has the modern big ball castors that people seem to like because they wheel easy. It shows normal wear marks on the seat from being used over the last 90 or so years. The overall size is 21 inches wide, 19 inches deep, 17 inches high on the seat, 27 inches high to the arm and 36 inches high to the chair back. Please keep in mind the chair will adjust in height approximately three inches. This chair will be shipped in two pieces via a driveway delivery in the continental USA for $145. The base screws back into the bottom of the chair with four screws and this saves you greatly on shipping costs.
