Date: Circa 1910
Wood: Oak
Dimensions: 48” Diameter × 29” H
Extended Length: 64”
Leaves: Two 8” leaves included
A handsome circa 1910 oak Empire-style round extension dining table with a beautifully figured 48-inch round oak top and two 8-inch extension leaves. With both leaves installed, the table extends to 64 inches, making it a versatile antique dining table that can comfortably accommodate a set of six chairs.
The table rests on a substantial cylindrical pedestal supported by an Empire-style platform base with four boldly curved scroll feet. The strong pedestal design provides excellent stability while giving the table the architectural presence associated with early 20th-century Empire and Empire Revival furniture.
The oak has especially attractive grain throughout the top, apron, pedestal, and base. Its warm dark oak finish has been preserved rather than refinished, giving the table the character and depth that collectors look for in original-finish antique furniture.
With the leaves removed, this is a very practical 48-inch round pedestal dining table for everyday use. The two included leaves allow it to quickly become a larger extension table when additional seating is needed.

Condition
The table retains its original dark oak finish and is in good overall antique condition. There are normal nicks, dings, scratches, finish variations, and other signs of age and use consistent with a table more than a century old.
There is also a small dark mark on the top, likely from a flowerpot, planter, oil lamp, or similar object that rested on the table at some point in its history. The mark blends reasonably well with the dark oak finish and does not prevent the table from being used and enjoyed exactly as it is.
Overall, this is a very usable antique oak table with an attractive original surface and honest age-related character. Please review all photographs closely, as they are an important part of the condition description.
