Set of 7 Assembled Oak Dining Chairs, Late Victorian #22446

This set of 7 beautifully carved oak dining chairs has a little secret — they were carefully assembled from two nearly identical sets. Honestly, it’s like a game of antique “seek & find”! Even our big guy was fooled at first glance, and he’s been doing this a long time.
The differences are so minor that no dinner guest would notice — unless you make it a party game, which we highly recommend! And as always, we’re upfront about the details because that’s how we do things at Maine Antique Furniture.
Design & Features:
Elaborately carved backs featuring grapes, nuts, berries, and leaf motifs
Barley twist posts and cross stretchers
Carved skirt around the seat edge
Cane seats in what appears to be good condition (see note below)
Solid oak frames with a lovely aged patina

The chairs are tight, sturdy, and comfortable.
The cane appears to be in good shape, but we do not guarantee cane to be perfect due to the nature of antique materials.
