We are pleased to be offering today this beautiful Victorian solid black walnut split pedestal dining room table dating from the 1880s in beautifully restored condition. We have gone through the table to make sure the top was all good, fitted the three 14 inch leaves the 48 inch round table top with a beautiful carved skirt. The top is actually 47+ inches round and the table is 29 inches high. It has a split pedestal base that has applied curlicues on all four legs, multi-carved legs with corner carved top blocks and applied burl panels on the base. The table comes with the original castors which is unique. The table will open up to 90 inches long, but will open farther if you would like to purchase additional leaves. The table will open as far as 110 inches. Check out the pictures of the beautiful refinish job where multiple coats of stain and lacquer have been applied. There are a couple of small slivers of wood on the wood pedestal where someone shut it to tight. I can see it because we are fussy, but you will likely not notice it.
