We are pleased to be offering today this beautiful mahogany Victorian rose carved gentleman’s arm chair in unbelievable fabric. The fabric has been replaced with a silk brocade style fabric that is in outstanding with the back being buttoned and pleated. The gimp has come unglued a little bit on the bottom of the seat, but that can be glued or tacked it. The mahogany wood frame is all good and the carving is all intact. It has big carved knuckle arms, big carved cabriole flower decorated legs, serpentine carved front skirt, medallion with back with an open pierce cut rose carved center crest with daisies on both sides and it is amazing. The chair dates from the 1860s to 1870s. The overall size is 26 inches wide, 22 inches deep, 41 inches high overall, 22 inches high to the arm and 17 inches high to the seat.
