We are pleaded to be offering today this solid oak with fancy carvings throughout spindle back original mirror hall tree that dates from the 1890s in refinished condition from many years ago. They used to lighten these up back in the 1960s, but it can be darkened. The finish is in real nice condition. The fancy carved crest on the top has gingerbread carvings. It has carving on the shapely cut out back below the bevel glass mirror and multiple spindles. It has cut out scrolled arms. It has the umbrella dish holder that used to take the drips, but it is missing which is normal. It has the little arm that is missing that would hold the umbrellas in place. What it does have is the important little angel embossed shield that holds the metal strap in place. The pan and strap can be replaced. It has a lift up seat for gloves and mittens. It has the original four cast iron embossed hooks. Everything is pretty much original and it is not all beat up. The overall size is 31 inches wide across the arms, 16 inches deep, 27.5 inches tall to the arms, 18.5 inches high to the seat and 75 inches high overall. It is a great looking hall tree. Shipping starts at $345 for a driveway delivery in our normal area which is New England. Please contact us prior to purchase with your zip code to confirm what it would cost you if outside of New England for shipping.
