We are pleased to be offering today this staple of the New England primitive market that has been difficult to find lately as displayed in this solid wood state of Maine Sheraton type primitive dresser that most likely dates from the 1840s to 1860s. It was refinished decades ago in a dark cherry color. It is in beautiful shape with the typical cracks on the solid plank sides. They have what appears to be the original hardware. The chest is likely made out of maple. It has the hand chaffered back, dove tails and hand chaffered drawer bottoms. It is a great chest that we used to find all the time. The overall size is 43 inches wide, 18 inches deep and 40.5 inches high. It is a great find out of a local estate. Shipping starts at $345 for a driveway delivery in our normal delivery area.
