SOLD Set of 9 Victorian Chippendale Ball & Claw Mahogany Dining Chairs

We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful set of solid mahogany nine formal style custom ball and claw Chippendale dining chairs that dates from the 1880s to 1890s.  They came out of a home in central Maine.  They are all solid mahogany.  The set consists of one master chair and eight side chairs.  Someone lightened up the master chair a bit and we can tint it to match the other chairs if desired.  The seats are all needlepoint, but they have different styles and colors.  The seats have 2 beige backgrounds, 2 teal backgrounds, 2 blue background, 2 oxblood backgrounds and the master chair has a black background.  They all have  colorful floral designs.  The upholstery is in pretty good condition, but the seats should be re-padded from normal use.  The chairs are all solid mahogany with a flared back leg, Chippendale front leg, solid H cross stretcher to add strength and sturdiness.  One of the chairs has one splat broken which we will repair prior to shipping.   You are getting all nine for one money.  The overall size of the arm chair is 20 inches wide, 20 inches deep, 40 inches high to the chair back, 27 inches high to the arm and 20 inches high to the seat.  The side chairs are 18 inches wide, 17.5 inches deep, 39 inches high to the chair back and 20 inches high to the seat.  They are a great quality set of chairs.  If you are looking for a set, we always have a variety of table in stock.  Shipping starts at $325 for a driveway delivery in our normal area which is New England.  Please contact us prior to purchase with your zip code to confirm what it would cost you if outside of New England for shipping.
