We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful set of six original finish matching tiger sawn oak dining chairs with claw feet that date from the 1900s to 1910s. These are referred to as "T" backs in the antique world. This set of chairs is something that we specialize in re-tightening, refinishing and recovering. These chairs could benefit from such a service. Most people would not be happy with the worn out seats. However, you can purchase them like they are and do it yourself our you can have professionals completely strip, re-tighten-repair, sand, stain, refinish and reupholster for an additional charge. If you are interested in that service, please contact us to discuss the details and fee. The chairs themselves are in good shape with only one chair having a crack in the back. the seats are worn as shown in the pictures, but easy to reupholster with a piece of foam for added cushion and a slip seat upholstery. If the customer wants them reupholstered, it would be the customers choice if they want to provide the fabric or if we pick the fabric. However, it can all be discussed at the time of sale. The overall size of the chairs are 18 inches wide, 17 inches deep, 17.5 inches high to the seat and 38 inches high to the back. They have a one piece flared back leg, cabriole legs that end in a claw foot in the front, tulip shaped center splat and a wonderful curved "T" back. Please look at the bottom of the pictures to see an example of a previous "T" back chair that we have refinished. You are getting all six for one money.
