We are pleased to be offering today this unbelievable set of high quality solid tiger sawn oak claw foot dining chairs that are heavier than normal dating from the early 1900’s. I bought these heavy carved chairs from a picture and I am so pleased that they are of such high quality as I was not expecting chairs this outstanding. The set consists of one master or arm chair and five side chairs. The previous owner said they have been professionally restored and reupholstered in the last 10-15 years. It shows off the beautiful tiger sawn oak that is throughout the entire chair. The chair back has maple leaf clusters and a shield of the knights. The fabric looks like it was hardly used with some gimp that was loose that we fixed. The fabric is a light green with a light greenish white rose colored flowers that goes great with the honey oak color chair. I am sure these cost $300- $400 a piece to have the chair and upholstery redone. These are amazing! The master chair is 24 inches wide on the outside of the arms, 19 inches on the inside of the arms, 20 inches deep, 41.5 inches high to the chair back, 27.5 inches high to the arm and 20 inches high to the seat. The arm chair even has leaves carved into the arms. The legs are rectangular solid oak with a rectangular raised panel on the front and the unusual detail solid claw feet that are of Horner quality. The five side chairs are 20 inches wide at the seat, 18 inches deep, 41 inches high to the back and 20 inches high to the seat. These are a gorgeous set of chairs that I am sure you will be impressed with. These heavy duty chairs may cost more to ship, but we are holding firm with our $289 shipping price for sets of six chairs going to our normal delivery area.
