We are pleased to be offering today this gorgeous mahogany with beautiful flame mahogany veneer pre-civil war empire period game table dating from the 1850s to 1860s. It is in the original finish that is in good finish and it is nice to look at with the flame mahogany veneers used on the top, unusual shapely U shape columns and the platform base. A couple of pieces of veneer are missing on the platform base, but overall the table is in great shape. It has a bit of a cup where the table sits and it appears the skirt is off a bit and it isn’t the wood. The great thing about game tables is that you are get 3 pieces of furniture in one! You can put it up against the wall when closed for a demi lune shape table or put it up against a wall and flip the top up to display a leaded lamp or you can spin the top around, flip the top over and use it as a game table or a dinette table. The overall size is 33.5 inches wide, 16.5 inches deep and 30 inches high. When the table is opened and spun around it becomes 33.5 inches square and approximately 29 inches high.
