We are pleased to be offering today this solid tiger sawn oak north wind or lion face heavily carved barley twist wing style legs rope braided edge library table that dates from the 1890's to 1900's. The overall condition is great except for a missing one inch area where the rope braided molding is knocked off the edge of the top. We will install the piece for the buyer if they so desire. Look at this table! It has barley twist legs, wing style fluted feet, shapely bottom multi-molded edge bottom shelf, applied carvings on the carved skirts, north wind face on every side, shelf supports on all the legs. The overall size is 38 inches wide, 29 inches deep, 31 inches high to the writing surface and 11 inches high to the bottom shelf. The overall condition is good original, with some of the finish has worn down. It has a satin finish with a dark oak stain. It has a few small splits in the solid oak legs, which is normal for the age and it is structurally sound. Shipping starts at $265 for a driveway delivery in our normal area.
