We are pleased to have purchased this French period empire most unusual center table/breakfast table/tilt top table that dates from the 1850s era. It has 14 different sections of flame mahogany match veneer on the top of this gorgeous scallop edge table that is 45 inches round and sits 29 inches high. This would be the talk of the town. It rests upon a French shapely pedestal base with carved cut out legs. It dates from the 1840s to 1860s and is in wonderful condition. It was refinished a long time ago and you can see where there were some early repairs on it. This table evens tilts to make a great decorative piece in a hallway, to display a bust or bronze or tilt down for breakfast or bridge. There are a few flaws such as a couple of cracks in the pedestal that we will touch up prior to purchase. An early repair on a small section of the matched veneer top was performed years ago. Shipping starts at $345 for delivery in our normal area. Please contact us prior to purchase as shipping can increase as much as $100 the further west you go.
