SOLD Antique Pair of Mahogany Twin Size Pineapple Poster Beds

We are pleased to be offering today this beautiful match pair of twin mahogany pineapple poster beds that date from the 1940s in refinished condition.  They are very unusual with a cutout fancy headboard shield and a matching board on the footboard with a tapered fluted cross stretcher.  It has slip on rails that come with the bed slats.  The beds are refinished in a dark reddish brown mahogany stain finish.  The inside dimensions for mattress purposes are 39 inches wide by 76 inches long, which is a modern day box spring size.  The outside dimensions are 42.5 inches wide, 49 inches high on the headboard post, 40 inches high to the headboard shield, 44 inches high on the footboard post,  30 inches high on the footboard shield and 23 inches high on the footboard shield.  It is a great looking pair of beds that are ready to go into the home.
