We are pleased to be offering today this beautiful antique oval wicker with spindle side natural condition glass top serving tray with two butterflies and an arrangement of dried flowers under the glass. This was done quite a bit in the Victorian area. This is a prime example of Yankee frugalness because this is in excellent condition. I’m not sure if it was ever used. It was probably a decorator piece. The overall size is 21 inches long from handle to handle, 14 inches deep, 2.5 inches high to the sidewalls and 3.75 inches high to the top of the handles. It probably dates from the 1900s to 1920s. Notice the little stick and ball ends under the handles. It came out of a local estate that had a collection. It is amazing how they found all these beautiful pieces. Shipping is $14.
