We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful white and gray grained marble top ebonized gold gilded parlor stand that dates from the 1870s era. At first I thought it was something that someone painted when it first came out of the house, but upon further inspection it is a true ebonized Eastlake parlor stand with gold gilded highlights. It has some nicks and dings on it which could use a little touch ups. As you can see, the table needs a good cleaning as it is still dusty from being the house all these years. It could use some elbow grease and maybe a good clear coat of lacquer to make it really pop. The table itself has a white and gray grained ogee bevel edge shapely top that follows the top of the solid black walnut skirted frame. The frame sits upon four heavily incise carvings open pierce carved legs that join together with a multi-turn solid black walnut center post and has the details of the gold highlights throughout the entire frame. There is a small stain on the marble that is shown on the picture. I am not sure if it would come out of not as no one has tried at this point. The overall size of the table is 32 inches wide, 22 inches deep and 30 inches high. It is a really nice Eastlake ebonized stand with gold incise detailed frame.
