Dating from the 1940s, this is a burl walnut Chippendale tall bar cabinet that came in on our last load from England. It has a medium amber burl walnut front on both doors and on the dovetail beveled edge drawer. It sits upon really tall dainty Chippendale Queen Anne pad foot legs. When you open the two burl walnut doors it exposes a mirror back interior, with a single shelf for storage and a glass bottom for working the goods. There is plenty of room for cups and bottles and family spirits. When you want to hide that, it does come with a key, which we don’t guarantee to work. The fancy brass hardware on the front is all intact. There is a little place for hors d oeuvres picks built in the racks on both doors. The top has been re-sprayed to reveal the grains of the cabinet, and there is a fancy carved edge along the top. It has one little chip in the trim work on the cabinet, but is in otherwise great condition. The overall size is 25 inches wide on the box of the cabinet, although the legs stick out about an inch more, 16 inches deep, and 52 inches high.
