We are pleased to be offering today this beautiful tiger sawn oak fancy carved shapely double door three shelf interior with a double drawer base oak bookcase that dates from the 1910s to 1920s era. It is a great looking bookcase that has a little shelf on the center top, carved crest, shapely doors that come up into a big circle in the center underneath the shelfs, shapely cut outs along the glass and a wonderful multi-molded cut out bracket base. It has blind dove tail drawers and one of the handles is missing. This bookcase was refinished years ago by one of the previous owners in a light to medium color. IT has dainty spindle galleries on the side. It has an extended molding to dress it up more. It has three adjustable shelves inside. More shelves can be made if need be. The overall size is 38 inches wide, 13 inches deep and approximately 75 inches high. The inside is 10.5 inches deep on the shelves. It is a great looking bookcase. The old paper label on the back says it was shipped to these people either in the year 1917 or 1927. Shipping starts at $345 for our normal area.
