We are pleased to be offering today this beautiful oval brass trimmed heavily inlaid occasional stand of dainty stature that dates from the 1890s to 1910s. Take a look at the numerous pictures to see how beautiful it is and it hasn’t even been polished! It came out of a home in Western Maine and the condition is unbelievable for the age. Take a look at the center where it has inlaid of two little cupids one with a sword and one with a helmet resting on what appears to be clouds. The top is figural maple oval design with maple pinstripe inlaid along the brown mahogany border and then another piece of dainty pinstripe and then a one inch border of brown mahogany and accented with brass applied trim. The skirts are multi-inlaid with leaf carving and banners and cross grain mahogany. Even the bottom shelf is all inlaid with a diamond shape and a floral arrangement in the center. It is inlaid all over. It is a beautiful table that we are pleased to have found. The overall size is 33 inches wide, 25 inches deep and 29.5 inches high overall. The height on the bottom shelf is 10 inches high. It is in beautiful as found condition. It has the normal nicks and dings of a 100+ year old table.
