We are pleased to be offering today this set of 6 formal oak dining chairs that date from the early 1900s in the original finish. Someone has redone the seats in a vinyl upholstery and they are not attractive. The upholstery is in good condition, but they are easy to reupholster as you simply unscrew the seat, take the top fabric off, put the new fabric on and then screw the seats back down to the chair. The chairs are really nice. The master chair has big curl knuckle arms. The chairs have cabriole legs, solid H cross stretcher, a stretcher across the two back flared legs and a round corner shapely design. The center splat is tapered and flares out to follow the contours of the back. The arm chair is 21 inches wide, 20 inches deep, 42 inches high to the chair back and 19 inches high to the seat. The side chairs are 18 inches wide, 18 inches deep, 40 inches high to the chair back and 19.5 inches high to the seat. You are getting all six in original condition for one money. These chairs would look beautiful around a Victorian table. Shipping starts at $265 for a driveway delivery in our normal area which is New England. Please contact us prior to purchase with your zip code to confirm what it would cost you if outside of New England for shipping.
