We are pleased to be offering today this old pair of Chippendale ball and claw talon foot brass andirons that came out of a local home. These have some age on them and they have been well used. We are selling them as cosmetics not for usable use. You can use them, but they are awesome to put in a old fireplace in the home as they look period, but I believe they are only from the turn of the century (1900's). They have brass finial tops, brass columns that go down into a brass coated ball and claw double foot and the andirons in the back are there. They are missing one of the finial caps that covers up the metal on the one side. There is a little bow on one of the andirons that can be bent back out. One of the finial caps in the back has come apart and there is a bit of a crack in the cap. You are not buying a perfect pair as there is wear here and there. The height of the andirons is 23 inches high, 10.5 inches wide on the feet and from the back of the iron to the front is 18 inches deep. The log holder is 4.75 inches high. The brass is not badly dented or rotted out, but the seams are there. Shipping starts at $40 for a driveway delivery in our normal area. Please contact us prior to purchase to confirm that you are in our normal area.
