We are pleased to be offering today this beautiful multi-raised panel turn of the century early 1900's tiger sawn oak flat top desk in restored condition. We brought this into the shop after it came out of a New York estate. It was refinished a long time ago, but we scuffed it and re-stained it to make it a beautiful desk with many years of carefree use. It is all tiger sawn oak and has multiple raised panels on the sides, back and even on the side with the four drawers. It is a single bank desk which is perfect for a student. It has four drawers fronts on the right hand side with the actual four drawers being two small drawers and an extra large file cabinet drawer in the bottom. It also has a skinny drawer where you sit on the desk and a pull out tray. So you are getting two drawers, a simulated two drawer which is file cabinet drawer, a pull out tray and a center drawer above the modesty area. The overall size of the desk is approximately 38 inches wide, 32 inches deep and 30 inches high. Where the chair goes is approximately 20 inches deep and 25 inches high. The drawers on the single bank column are 10.5 inches wide with the bottom drawer being 10 inches deep and the two top drawers are approximately 4.5 inches deep. The pull out tray is all solid tiger sawn oak and has breadboard ends. The size of the pull out tray is 11 inches wide by 18 inches long. The drawer above the modesty area is 18.5 inches wide, 16 inches deep and 1.75 inches high. The desk originally had locks on the top drawer and center drawer, but we do not have any keys. This desk has had multiple hand rubbed coats of a satin sheen lacquer to bring out the gorgeous grains of the tiger sawn oak used. Shipping starts at $325 for a driveway delivery in our normal area.
