15570 Antique Oak Two-drawer Library Table
PURCHASE PRICE: $1250.00
SHIPPING: $345.00Item #: 15570
This is a gorgeous tiger-sawn oak, dual-drawer library table that dates from the 1890s. All refinished in our restoration shop, this table is in a medium dark oak stain that brings out the beautiful grains of the tiger-sawn and straight-grain oak used in its construction. Two dovetail drawers with the traditional round handle carved posts, with the round-cornered multi-top, this table was most likely sold by Macy or Gunn, because it resembles the top you see on those desks. The table itself has an extra-thick double solid oak top, two dovetail drawers, four multi-turned spindle post legs, and a cross-stretcher with a carved routed edge. The legs are a bit darker on the feet, as you can see in some of the photos, but overall this table is in fantastic condition. It’s difficult to find this style of table these days, and they really work great in a computer room. The overall size of this table is 60 inches long, 30 inches deep, and 30 inches high. The drawers are 20 inches inside, 19 inches deep, and 3 inches high. .
